God’s presence, once exclusive to the Temple for ancient Israel, is now present in the Mystical Body, the Church. Pentecost, the start of the Church, was the occasion of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Mary and the Apostles; the same Holy Spirit familiar to Mary in the Annunciation. Thus, we implore to Mary - spouse of the Holy Spirit - her intercession as we prepare towards Pentecost.
