Feast of St. Joseph

A blessed Solemnity of St. Joseph!

In Genesis, Joseph, the prime minister of Egypt, was the guardian of food stores. St. Joseph was the guardian of the Holy Family - the Virgin Mary and the Redeemer. Knowing St. Joseph, then, keeps us close to Jesus and Mary, to the gift of salvation.
