5th Sorrow & Joy of St. Joseph

In antiquity, Egypt represents what man can do without the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Joseph takes the Holy Family into Egypt - not only for protection - so that the True Saviour may turn his back on the false idols of the land.
