Trinity Sunday Reflection

The Solemnity of the Holy Trinity is the octave day for Pentecost. The Trinity is now complete in the world - the Father sends the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is because the Son and the Spirit are in the world that we know the Father. St. Paul teaches us that the Holy Spirit enables us to profess that “Jesus is Lord” (I Corinthians 12:3) and to cry out “Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6).
