Corpus Christi Sunday Reflection

Corpus Christi - the Feast of the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus - is of great importance to the Catholic faithful. The real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist is the source of the Church's life and the goal to which the Church's life is directed. Let us pray for a deeper devotion to the Eucharist; an increase in "Eucharistic amazement". A point of departure may be the sequence for the Mass of Corpus Christi, written by St. Thomas Aquinas, which summarizes the grandeur of this feast.
